The Denver Nuggets are back in action after an unusual loss against the Houston Rockets. The defending champions are back home, taking on the LA Clippers. As they look to get back to their dominant run in the league, head coach Michael Malone dropped an uplifting speech to the team. Notably, it not only tried to lift the spirits of the Nuggets stars but also took a dig at James Harden and his men.
The Clippers are currently riding on a five-game losing streak and Harden’s inclusion hasn’t made any effect on the team yet. The 10x NBA All-Star has only averaged 13.5 points in his four games. Pundits and fans are already hovering over The Beard’s head, making judgments about his place in the already cramped-up roster. On top of it, Harden has to put up with the Nuggets’ mind games off the court.

The defending champions went off to a flying start. The franchise spearhead Nikola Jokic has emerged dominant around the ring as usual. However, Jokic’s bag of tricks didn’t work out against the Rockets, as they restricted the Nuggets to a 107-104 victory. But, the Denver side has the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways, defeating the Clippers, who are on a 5-game losing streak.
On the other hand, the Clippers coach Tyronn Lue still hasn’t lost hope in his team, as he recently gave out a stern warning to the other franchises. He added, “It’s gonna be good, Andrew. That’s alright. We’ll be alright. They better take advantage of it now.”
