Dwight Howard has been one of the premier players of the NBA for the 2010s. But now he finds himself without an NBA team for the second consecutive season. Howard got a trial with the Golden State Warriors. But for a certain reason, they did not select Dwight for the upcoming season, despite having an impressive workout with the players.
But despite the setback, the 3x Defensive Player of the Year has continued to work on his game. Dwight Howard posted a series of memes on his Instagram handle, showing the world that he hasn’t lost his sense of humor.

Dwight Howard: The Troll
In his years in the NBA, Howard has gained a reputation for being a troll. And it is safe to say that Howard has not lost his sense of humor after being away from the NBA for a season. Dwight posted a series of pictures on his Instagram handle and he wrote “Since everyone trolling” in the caption. The post also had a video of Howard dominating Nikola Jokic in the 2020 Western Conference finals.
On multiple occasions, Howard has stated that he was a better player than Jokic in his prime. Howard posted the video to remind everyone that he could be the answer to slow down the multi-faceted Nikola Jokic.

His playful and often humorous interactions with fans, teammates, and even opponents marked Dwight Howard’s troll legacy in the NBA. Throughout his career, Dwight Howard has found ways to get under his opponent’s skin. He is also considered a funny guy, who can uplift the atmosphere of the dressing room. But on multiple occasions, Howard has found himself on the wrong side of an opponent.
Dwight and NBA legend Shaq share a quiet public feud because of Howard’s antics. Howard first got on the wrong side of Shaq when he stole Shaq’s moniker of ‘Superman’ for the NBA Dunk contest. He further enraged the NBA legend by mimicking Shaq in an interview.

Howard’s Legacy
Dwight Howard is one of the most polarizing players in the NBA. In his prime, Howard was a menace. Very few teams had answers to Dwight’s immense talent, both on the offensive and on the defensive. Dwight has a stellar CV very few players can rival. He has won the NBA title in 2020, is an 8x NBA All-Star, 3x DPOY, and has 8 All-NBA selections.

Whether you cheered for him or not, Dwight Howard made an enormous impact on the game. He was a dominant force, known for his amazing skills and charisma that left fans and the basketball world in awe of his talents. Dwight can still contribute on the biggest stage and it won’t be a shock if a team recruits him in the middle of the season. He is too good to not play in the NBA.
