However, this new $54 million signee has Dallas fans excited as he exudes leadership right out of the gate.

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks had one of the better records in the Western Conference up until the trade deadline last season. And everyone thought that the addition of Kyrie Irving will only make things even better.

Unfortunately for Dallas fans, things took a turn for the worse and their record ended up taking a nosedive. Which ultimately resulted in the team missing out on the playoffs despite having two All-Stars on the team.

But now, with the addition of Grant Williams, Dallas fans have something else to look for. In one of the team?s recent training camps, Williams took on a leadership role at the end of practice.

Dallas Mavericks reporter Landon Thomas uploaded a video of Williams talking to his team. Williams could be heard saying, ?Hold each other accountable. We can?t come in sloppy. The only way you win in this league is if you take it every single night. You can?t wait til the f***ing playoffs, you got to do that shit every f***ing game.?

With Williams taking charge right off the bat, fans could not be more excited.
