Days After Their Relationship Going Public, NCAA Champion Angel Reese Tries to Pull a ‘Caitlin Clark’, Just to Get Humbled by Boyfriend: “Stick to Basketball Bae”

The 2023 NCAA March Madness witnessed a rivalry for the ages. Despite clashing only in the championship game, Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark became fierce rivals overnight. After Reese and the LSU Tigers defeated Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes, Reese made some gestures to the Hawkeyes guard the fans did not like. Then came a controversial snub which saw Reese receive the Most Outstanding Player award ahead of Clark. However, months after this incident, Reese tried to pull a ‘Caitlin Clark’ only to get humbled by her boyfriend.

Angel Reese became an online sensation after her actions at the NCAA championship game. Her basketball skill may be awe-inspiring, but her social media presence has elevated her popularity to a different level. Recently, Reese made her relationship with the Florida State Seminoles’ Cam’Ron Fletcher public. While their social media posts are full of displays of affection, when Reese tried her hand at Clark’s second favorite sport, Fletcher did not hesitate to burst her bubble.

Caitlin Clark had a historic run at the NCAA tournament this year. The 21-year-old shattered records throughout her run with the Hawkeyes as they stormed into the championship game. Clark broke the single tournament scoring record, also racking up the most three-pointers made in a single game in the Women’s National Championship.

However, much to her fans’ amazement, she also appeared at the John Deere Pro-Am Golf Tournament.  Clark showcased her talent on the golf course, looking natural with the golf club in hand. Turns out, she has a long history with the sport.

“I used to run around golf courses and want to go to golf events when I was a young kid or basketball events…” Clark claimed, explaining her relationship with golf. However, Angel Reese may not be so naturally talented at the sport.

In a recent video by Cam’Ron Fletcher, we see Reese try her hand at golf. However, her misfiring elicited a hilarious response from her beau.

Angel Reese had an outstanding run with the LSU Lady Tigers at the NCAA tournament. She racked up the greatest number of double-doubles in an NCAA tournament, also leading the Lady Tigers to their first-ever title in March Madness history. Her efforts also earned her the Most Outstanding Player award.

However, the Tigers forward is no Caitlin Clark when it comes to golf. Angel Reese tried to pull a ‘Caitlin Clark’ on a rooftop golf course, but she had an underwhelming outing, to say the least.

Her boyfriend, Cam’Ron Fletcher, posted a video of her attempt, captioning it, “Stick to basketball bae.” He is also heard saying, “You gotta hit it harder than that, lady,” after Reese’s failed attempt.
