Fans are making the rounds, predicting winners, just like Kyrie Irving! He’s no different and has a winner set in his mind – Sabrina Ionescu. He picked her over Curry in a recent interview, where he said, “I’m pulling for Sabrina. No disrespect to you, Steph. I love you big bro, but at the same time, she got the record. She’s coming to defend her title. You’re (Steph) coming to the competitive table to see if you can win. It’s going to be interesting.”

Both Curry and Ionescu will be driven not only by their desire to outperform each other but also by their commitment to charitable causes. Steph’s Eat.Learn.Play Foundation as well as Ionescu’s SI20 foundation will receive donations from the NBA and WNBA. Additionally, each three-pointer made will activate a set donation amount from State Farm to the NBA Foundation, which supports economic empowerment in the black community. Regular three-pointers made will be valued at $1,000. Whereas, the money-ball shots will be valued at $2,000. Moreover, the “Starry Range Ball” (29 feet away from the basket) will be valued at $3,000.

The anticipation surrounding “Steph vs Sabrina” has reached a fever pitch, as two of the greatest shooters from their respective leagues face each other. But how did this one-of-a-kind event come to fruition?
