Will Ant Edwards play Today?

Timberwolves and the Mavericks played out a thrilling match at the Etihad Arena, UAE. The game ended 111-99 in favor of the Wolves, with Karl Anthony Towns scoring 20 points, most for the Wolves. The Mavs gave minutes to both their stars, Kyrie and Luka. Luka Doncic starred for the Mavs, as he out-scored everyone during the game with 25 points. But the Timberwolves star player, Anthony Edwards, missed the game because of an ankle injury he suffered during practice.

Though Edwards’ ankle sprain isn’t believed to be serious, he still remains a doubt for the game later today. As reported by Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Coach Chris Finch hopes Edwards will be able to play in Saturday’s preseason game against Dallas. Minnesota fans would be hoping that they can see their franchise cornerstone return to the court as soon as possible because their hopes rest on Edwards’ shoulders.
