The FIBA World Cup, which concluded recently, has certainly changed the dynamics of world basketball. We have a new world champion and the United States team is being bashed left, right, and center for their performances.

Despite that, they still captured the #1 spot in the World Rankings. FIBA recently released their updated rankings following the World Cup and there are some huge surprises. The 2019 champions Spain dropped one place and took the #2 spot in the rankings while Germany unsurprisingly climbed 8 spots and is now ranked #3 in the world.
