Donovan Mitchell is both amused and confused

Louisville completed a win big over Boston College. Their offense was on fire and they won 56-28. Cardinals’ Jack Plummer had five touchdowns and 388 yards under his belt. This was the fourth straight win for the Cardinals and they looked a class apart.

However, at the beginning of the game, something out-of-place happened. After a scrum, the Cardinals were set to run their offense. But in the midst of that, Offensive Lineman Willie Tyler does a cartwheel out of nowhere. This happened while the other players were assuming their offensive and defensive positions.

Upon watching this, Donovan Mitchell shared a story of the clip and wrote, “Please explain 😂😂😂 @louisvillefb”. At any rate, this is an incredible start for the Cardinals and they have exceeded expectations to a point. Jack Plummer has been a shining star, and the squad is making a push to be labeled as a ranked squad.

Last season, the Cardinals had an 8-5 record and finished fourth in the ACC Atlantic Division. It is still early parts, but the program is looking much improved than last season. However, they will be tested once they go up against the top-ranked squads. As for Mitchell, there is going to be an important season ahead.

Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers with a huge season ahead

Last season, Donovan Mitchell dropped 71 points during a Regular Season game against the Bulls. This wasn’t a surprise considering he has one of the best offensive repertoire in the league.

He led his team to the fourth seed, but in the first round, they underperformed and lost four to one games against the Knicks. For this season, they have acquired sharpshooter Max Strus, but apart from that; the core remains the same. This core of Garland, Mitchell, Strus, Mobley, and Allen has terrific inside defense and strong one-to-four sharpshooting. Their bench looks decent with Rubio, LeVert, Okoro, Niang, and Damian Jones. However, if this core doesn’t get past at least the first round of the Playoffs next season, Mitchell may start looking elsewhere.

Will this unit make a big splash next season?
