While Philly boasts their new lineup, the Cavaliers came with a recent triumph over the Denver Nuggets.

As the Philadelphia 76ers geared up for their final In-Season Tournament showdown against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the atmosphere saw a hilarious exchange between their stars amidst the charged-up energy. During the pre-game shoot-around, Darius Garland caught sight of Tyrese Maxey across the court and couldn’t resist greeting the 76ers guard.

Approaching over with a smile, Garland quirkily exclaimed, “I need some of your juice,” multiple times. Furthermore, to drive the point home, he added, “Give me all your powers right now.” ?

Since James Harden’s departure, Maxey has boldly embraced his expanded role and evolved into a superstar-caliber player for the Sixers. Furthermore, he recently exploded for a whopping 50 points, setting a new personal best.

Garland did get ‘some of that juice’

Entering the game, Maxey came on the back of one of his most impressive stretches. On the flip side, Garland had been delivering decent performances, but many were falling below the 20-point mark. However, it seemed like Garland’s fortunes took a turn. Darius finished the regulation with an impressive 30 points and 7 assists. In doing so, Garland pulled off a spectacular desperation three from the left wing during the crunch time. He then progressed to even the score at 110-110 with clutch free throws and force the game to overtime.

Meanwhile, Maxey’s prowess showed no signs of diminishing. Logging an impressive 42 minutes in regulation, Maxey lit up the scoreboard with 28 points of his own. Mirroring Garland’s late-game heroics, Maxey stepped up with multiple crucial buckets for the 76ers in the final two minutes of the game as well.
