Young touched upon how Ball’s injury came during a very wrong time. The Bulls were the first seed in the East and their season came crashing down with Ball’s injury.

“I feel bad just for the GMs because I feel they made the perfect team around me. And I felt like I was involved, that was the most I was ever involved in an organization and I finally got the perfect team”, said Ball while answering Young’s query.

He further revealed, “I feel like we really had a chance and never got to see what it was”. Despite a great start to their campaign, the injury really hurt DeMar DeRozan and the Bulls. They ultimately finished 6th in the Eastern Conference and their season ended in the first round of the playoffs.

NBA fans blamed Ball’s father for his situation

A few months ago, reports revealed that Lonzo Ball will miss the 2023-24 NBA season due to an issue with his left knee. This raised a huge issue across social media platforms.
