Stepping into his 6th season in NBA, Luka Doncic has already found himself in the MVP talks. Following his career best average of 32 points in the last season, the star has continued from where he left off.

The rising star repeatedly churns in big numbers every game. Especially in the game after his daughter was born, he dropped 36 points, 15 rebounds and 18 assists. Moreover, the game also included a historic 30-0 run in the last quarter.

Despite his efforts in the mind-blowing chase, the team fell short at the end. However, hours after the defeat, the Slovenian star did something more to cherish – his daughter’s welcome ceremony.

Doncic took to his IG stories and shared a whole picture of three four-legged friends, most probably two Husky breeds and a Pomeranian breed. The dogs stood in front of a beautiful message and posed for the picture. The message read, “Welcome to the family, Gabriela. We can’t wait to meet you!”

Apart from this special picture on his social media, the star also opened up about his daughter after the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Following the hard-fought battle against the OKC on Saturday night, Luka Doncic opened up about his newborn to the press. He said, “First of all, I got the baby, but then today’s game was a big rollercoaster, too. I’m so sad we didn’t win this game, but man, we gave a big, big effort.”

He further appreciated his team’s efforts to turn the game around in the last two quarters. The team takes on the Utah Jazz in their next outing. Hopefully, Luka can claim his first win as a father.
