The NFL Legend Shannon Sharpe never minces words. He calls it as he sees it. That earns him fans and detractors alike. But this time he was spot on as one more artist bottles the National Anthem. But was it intentional or just the creativity gone awry for Flava Flav, who evoked a “no boy” reaction from Shannon? And did that kill the Bucks vibe in this game?

In this Sunday game, the Bucks had a terrible outing against the Hawks. What went wrong for them to go down like this to a non-contender?

First, it was Fergie.

Fergie started a trend of sorts because of her rendition of the National Anthem. And the NBA world had barely forgotten that Flava Flav has stirred it up with his own version. Shannon Sharpe shows his thumbs down with a “no boy” comment on Twitter for the rapper’s performance.

The Bucks had an ebullient win against the Sixers, which saw Damian Lillard go berserk with his 39-point game. The Atlanta Hawks were coming into this contest with 2 losses against the New York Knicks and the Charlotte Hornets. What should have been a dominant win for the Milwaukee team saw them go down against the Hawks in a beat down. 110-127 was the final score, and yet another time, the Hawks led by Trae Young have shocked the NBA World.

7 players in the Atlanta team scored in double digits to go along with Trae Young’s 20-piece. For Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a regular game with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists. This double-double did not have the right support from Damian Lillard, who could only score 6 points. Though this is only game 2 of the season, and Milwaukee will auto-correct once its core talent settles down, still this could have been a better Sunday.

Two Games at Milwaukee.

The addition of Damian Lillard has made Milwaukee not only a title favorite but also a must-watch TV. Thus, many games that would go unnoticed earlier will be under scrutiny this season. Their first game against the Sixers had some wild swings, and Damian Lillard had to ring in his “Dame time” to save the day. But somehow they could not figure it out against the minnows, the Hawks.

One thing is clear, the Bucks need Khris Middleton, who did not play in this game. Though Malik Beasley chipped in with 18 points along with Brook Lopez’s 13, they could not create the impact that Middleton brings in. Thus, a fully healthy Middleton is a must for Milwaukee.
