Colorado Buffaloes have now won their first two games. In their latest victory, they dusted Nebraska Cornhuskers 36-14. No team could scratch in the first quarter but in the second one, Colorado opened up the game and took a 13-0 lead. Then, in the second half, they only piled on further misery. This was coach Deion Sanders’ home debut for the Buffaloes.

During his first win, the Buffaloes had a hard-fought 45-42 win against TCU. In both these games, Shedeur Sanders was the team’s star.

As the training camps will roll and the race towards the Regular Season will get intense, his engagements will multiply. Despite being in “chill mode”, nothing can keep the sports-obsessed James away from the action.

How will he and the Lakers shape up next season?

The Lakers are going to be in the training camp mode soon. The camp will manifest into the preseason. The Lakers’ first Preseason game will be on 8 October and they will take on the Warriors to begin their season. The Lakers didn’t make any major trades and only extended core players such as Russell, Davis, Hachimura, and Reaves, who helped make the Conference Finals last season. Magic Johnson called Rob Pelinka “GM of the Year” for his moves.

It will be interesting to see how the squad responds this season. One big concern can be managing James’ minutes, last season he had multiple injuries. He has incredible durability but the wear and tear will need careful management.
