“Damn Man! Praying For the Absolute Best”: LeBron James, Darius Garland, and NBA Community Reacts to Cleveland’s Nick Chubb’s Ghastly Injury

A day after LeBron James expressed his frustration with a collision in a college football game, a grave injury from the NFL left him in disbelief. The Monday night game between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers had a somber moment when Browns’ Nick Chubb took a blow to his knee. Following the injury, stars from across the sporting community sent in their prayers for the speedy recovery. The Cleveland Cavaliers stars Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell took to their social media with prayers.

The injury was so gruesome that the broadcasters refrained from telecasting the replays, reported Bleacher Report. However, the spectators gasp after watching the replay from the stadium and underlined the seriousness of the injury. As of now, there haven’t been any developments in the Chubb’s injury. The team immediately ruled out the running back star for the rest of the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar, who is also an ardent football fan, always expresses heart out on social media. After Chubb’s injury, he immediately took to his X, formerly known as Twitter, to send his prayers.

The details of the injury seemed to be horror, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter highlighted that Chubb injured the same knee that he dislocated in 2015 with multiple tears. On the other hand, Steelers’ Minkah Fitzpatrick also sustained injury in the collision. Notably, Nick Chubb was carted away from the field.

Following suit, Cavs’ star Donovan Mitchell wrote, “Praying for you bro,” and his teammate Darius Garland sent a praying emoji.

Notably, several other NFL stars also extended their prayers for Chubb. via social media Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Christian McCaffrey are some of them.

This tweet from the Lakers superstar came a day after he expressed his frustration over a controversial call in the instate Colorado college game.

King James’ stern opinion on the controversial call 

The hype for the game between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams skyrocketed and fans jam packed the arena. While all eyes were on the game, CSU’s Henry Blackburn left Buffs’ Travis Hunter on the ground in a wild collision. Surprisingly, the referee only gave an unnecessary roughness penalty to Blackburn. Following that, King James took to his social media and wrote, “Like I don’t understand the difference between targeting and what I just witnessed… That was blatant and uncalled for IMO!”
