The 39-year-old sustained an injury within five minutes of the game, prompting Kevin Durant to jump on Twitter.

The NBA superstar displayed his reaction to the incident surrounding the number 8 publicly. The NFL Star’s Monday night ended abruptly, leaving Durant praying for his recovery.

Following a sack from Leonard Floyd, Rodgers struggled to carry on in his debut and eventually had to give in. Kevin, as a fan of the game, reacted to it with a Twitter post, stating, “I’m so sick right now,” displaying his disappointment in the incident.

He later added, “Get well soon 8,” as the team members helped Aaron move off the field. Soon after the Phoenix Suns star’s post, the news of Rodgers not returning for the rest of the game came out. But his x-rays showed no broken bones, so maybe KD’s prayers were answered this time around. This small gesture put one thing on display yet again.
