Capital One’s The Match, celebrity golf tournament between Splash Bros and NFL superstars Pat Mahomes and Travis Kelce went viral way before it started. While the NBA world rooted in its stars to rise to glory, NFL stars ended up winning the game. But it didn’t end there.

Steph Curry had other ideas at South Lake Tahoe. Moreover, in a video shared by the Warriors, Mahomes’ nervy moment was caught on camera.

In the video, the Dubs superstar seemed greeting his competitors ahead of the game during the practice. He eventually met Mahomes, who was practicing his swings. During that time, the NFL star said, “I’m just trying to get in the 70’s one year.” 

Curry replied, “It’s gonna happen,” and Mahomes immediately responded, “it’s my putty I’m scared I put scared out here.”

Then the video featured other celebrity participants sharing their experience of playing alongside Steph.

Notably, Patrick Mahomes himself praised his golf rival with a special tweet. He wrote, “I wish I was as cool as @StephenCurry30.” 

Moreover, Steph urged all his colleagues to pick up a golf club in their leisure, during an interview.
