In the light-hearted and intense world of the NBA, the offseason can become a portal for light moments. Players want to build chill vibes and also engage in catching up with athletes from other demanding sports. The link between the NBA and the NFL is particularly tight-knit and there are many friendships across the boards. Amidst, players from both leagues also have intense social media engagement. In one such example, NBA’s Damian Lillard laughs at the antiques of NFL’s Marshawn Lynch.

The Superstar Guard shared a hilarious story from Marshawn Lynch’s recreation of his 2007 Applebees experience, as shown by ESPN. Lillard enjoyed this bit and titled his story with “😂😂😂😂”. The 2013 Super Bowl Champion was drafted by the Buffalo Bills and, in his rookie season, loved going to the restaurant, based in the city.

In the recreation, now much bulked-up, the former 215 lbs Running back enters the Applebees and says, “Damn, s*** is still the same”. Then he states “I am really like that. The owner of the place, I fu**** know that, y’all know that? Well, you learn something new everyday B”.

The complete bit is even more hilarious. Back in his 2007 ESPN segment, then 21-year-old Lynch had said, ”I love the ambiance, I love the decor, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out which one I like more.” Since decor plays an integral part in determining the ambiance, it seemed that the incredible former player had no clue what both meant.

In his recreation, he admits that ”After all this time, it’s still the same ambiance and the same decor. I know now. When I first said it, I had no idea what the f*** that meant.

The disgruntled Trail Blazers Guard must be digging some content up since the NFL On Prime Insta page published it 11 weeks ago. Lynch’s return to Buffalo must have also intrigued Lillard. Both of them are from Oakland and Lillard has always given Lynch his props.
