As QB Aaron Rodgers writhed in pain and shook his head, the sadness of the injury, filled many with pain. It wasn’t just the New York Jets fans that felt the impact. When the news broke that he would miss the whole season, many in the sporting world didn’t want to believe it. They were not able to digest this. So, it is not surprising that NFL fanboy LeBron James feels the same. He wants to see the best compete against the best and this was no different story.

LeBron James gives Rodgers stimulation to return

A couple of days ago, LBJ decided to dish out a weekly NFL picks episode. In the first segment, he reviewed the marquee match-up between the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs. He stated,”Obviously when this game was slated, we were all excited about this week four match-up, you had Pat Mahomes vs Aaron Rodgers. You had these defenses that were great, the offense that was great. And obviously, seen A-Rod go down, speedy recovery to A-Rod, man. I wish you the best bro. Please come back stronger.”

LBJ’s wishes are the wishes of many NFL fans. After signing with the Jets in the hope of a championship, just on the first play, the incredible Quarterback suffered a horrific fate. On his first offensive possession for the Jets, Bills’ edge rusher Leonard Floyd ran toward the QB and had a clean rush. As he didn’t want to get sacked, the former Bay Packers player tried to get away. As he was getting away, Floyd corralled the incredible athlete. However, as he got corralled, his left foot made an awkward twist, and he tore his Achilles, which was confirmed by the medical examinations later.

This one play gave nightmares to the Jets coaching staff, who found it hard to sleep. After months of anticipation, a dream shattered. As for LeBron James, he is also going into next season with a lot of expectations as usual.

For the Lakers’ fans, this is great news. They added depth to their solid core that made a remarkable comeback and propelled them to the West Finals last Playoffs. If James is healthy for even 75-80% of the season, their chances of a deep run look great.
