NFL legend Deion Sanders turned the heat at Boulder ahead of massive in-state rivalry in college football. The legend grabbed the attention of the sporting world, as almost every top sports analysts swarmed in for the hype event before the game. Apart from the sporting community, Lil Wayne and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson also were present. Subsequently, Sanders’ gesture to gift Lil Wayne with a customized Colorado jersey went viral among online fans. Notably, it didn’t leave out Golden State Warriors‘ newest member, Chris Paul, as he expressed his joy via social media.

Ahead of the college football game between the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams, a fan celebratory event, big Noon Kickoff, was organized. Dapper-looking Sanders walked in the event with sunglasses and a hat, leaving the fans to erupt. Moreover, this attraction has helped the college football to witness first sell out in nine years, reported Sports Illustrated.

Deion Sanders, who is fondly called as Coach Prime, has created the hype for the Buffaloes ever since he took up the coaching job. Rightly so, fans flooded in for the hype event ahead of the in-state clash. Moreover, top media houses like ESPN’s First Take, Pat McAfee Show were covering the event. During the event, $170 million rich Lil Wayne also set the stage on fire with his performance, wearing #17 jersey. Before his performance, Sanders surprised the fans with a grand gesture.

Sanders gifted the star rapper with a customized Buffs jersey with Tunechi written on the back. The video of the moment went viral on social media, as fans celebrated the iconic moment. On the other hand, The Warriors star Chris Paul also shared the video on his Instagram story along with a flurry of fire emojis.

This isn’t the first time Lil Wayne has been to Boulder. He took a tour of the facilities before the star coach took the job.
