The Colorado State hero Nikola Jokić and his daughter Ognjena received love from fans on their day out. Hours after the ASG, the Denver Nuggets center took his daughter out to spend his All-Star break. In a video clip that surfaced on the internet, the Serbian star was spotted alongside his daughter at tonight’s NHL game between the and Vancouver Canucks.

While the Avalanche has the experience of winning championships, Nikola Jokic played an important role in bringing the first ever championship ring to the Nuggets franchise. The towering center put up a dominant performance near the rim, helped the team clinch the Western Conference. And, eventually went on to win the Finals MVP against the Miami Heat. Rightfully so, the home crowd celebrated the star with abundant love.

Moreover, the team is posting a similar performance in this season as well. Even though the Nuggets still produce their dominant performance, they are yet to seal the first seed in the West. Compared to the last season, the Western Conference has currently four dominant teams, fighting for the top seed.

Leaving the fight to top the West aside, the love that Jokic receives from the fans is unconditional. The Siberian star doesn’t engage in the glitz and glamor of the business unlike other stars and still received an abundance of love, only because of his balling skills. Notably, the star turned 29 yesterday.

Will the Nuggets defend their title?

Compared to their 2022-23 regular season, the Nuggets aren’t the lonely team at the top of the West. The LA Clippers, OKC Thunder, Timberwolves have been camping at the top on a rotational basis. It gives a clear picture that the Denver won’t have a walk in the park to clinch a spot in the 2024 Finals.

On the other hand, Jamal Murray, who played the important role in the championship run, needs a step up than his usual effort. Speaking of missing the All-Star game, he confidently said, “I’m an All-Star when you need the All-Star to show up – in the playoffs.”
