“Michael Jordan was the whole thing, not just only skill. Michael’s able to cultivate a younger generation with his smile… he was just a likeable person. You see Anthony Edwards man, you see this man on an interview, you just can’t help but to like him. He has the smile, he has the baby face… he’s a monster,” Beverley said on Gilbert Arenas’ podcast.

He then remarked, “I think his numbers in the playoffs, compared to Mike’s and a lot of the top greats that’s played in the playoffs 21-22 years old, he’s up there with the best of them, so.”

Beverley had his say about the similarities between Edwards and Jordan. In fact, the 22-year-old further provided reasons to draw parallels through some in-game heroics that emulated Jordan’s game.

However, the basketball world does not seem pleased with these comparisons.
