The Los Angeles Lakers have often relied on Anthony Davis and LeBron James for the team’s offense. Lately, Austin Reaves has been pouring it in every other night while coming off the bench, playing the role of a spark plug.

But when all three players would have an off night, that is when D’Angelo Russell would step up. Russell has been a crucial part of the Lakers’ early success this season with his three-point shooting.

But now, the team may have to find another player who would step up in place of Russell. According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, “D’Angelo Russell suffered a bruised tailbone drawing that offensive foul at the end of the 3rd Q. He’ll miss the rest of the game, per the Lakers.”
