“I do expect him to start, I do, I think it’s like five-minute spurts. I don’t know if they want his minutes to be high, but I think they’re gonna try it, I could be wrong, but that’s the gist that I’m getting. This isn’t an opinion, this is just what I’m hearing – that he’s expected to start”, said Marc Spears according to reports. Spears achieved a massive personal milestone recently. The San Jose native was inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame for his journalism career. Coming from him, it looks more than likely that the 38-year-old Chris Paul will have starting minutes under Steve Kerr very soon.

Chris Paul has a unique NBA record

CP3 has played 18 incredible seasons in the NBA. During this time, he has been selected as an All-Star on 12 occasions while also being crowned the Assist Champ 5 times.

However, his most unique distinction which sets him apart from everyone else is his starting record. The Point God has started a whopping 1,363 games which is the highest in NBA history.
