The competition in the league has only intensified with each passing game, as teams gear up to climb the Conference standings. The battle is on and so it is for the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic. The Eastern rivals have already faced off three times this season, with the Magic claiming victory in each encounter. This time, the Kia Center will be buzzing with excitement as it prepares to host their final regular-season showdown of the 2024-2025 campaign. So, let’s dive in and uncover who will be taking the court this Sunday afternoon and who will miss out on what could be a thrilling clash.

Nets Injury report

The only two players from the Nets with a slim chance of suiting up for today’s matchup are Cam Johnson and Cam Thomas. Johnson, who has been dealing with a right hip contusion, will be available. Thomas, on the other hand, is suffering with a left hamstring issue and also has the same game status. Serbian guard, Bojan Bogdanovic has no return date as he recovers from a left foot injury. And that’s not all. Trendon Watford, who has missed the last five consecutive games due to a left hamstring strain, is out and so is Ziaire Williams due to a sprained left knee. The injury concerns are almost the same for the Magic if not more.

Magic Injury report

The Orlando injury list includes the same three of their heavy hitters, Paolo Banchero and the Wagner brothers, with all three of them ruled out. Banchero is now nearing two months of absence due to a torn oblique. The 22-year-old forward is reportedly focused on conditioning workouts and is on his way back to full health.

Franz Wagner, who was having an All-Star campaign, has been dealing with a similar issue, much to the dismay of the Magic fans. Moe Wagner also followed his brother on the injury list after he suffered a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee. With that being discussed, let’s take a closer look at the depth charts of both teams to get a clearer idea of their possible rotations.
