The Los Angeles Clippers are back on their winning ways, with their stars firing on all cylinders. They defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a massive score of 99-124. Spurs’ rookie sensation, Victor Wembanyama, on the other hand, put up a disappointing display.

It seems like the Clippers found the perfect coordination after all. They played well in the previous matches as well, but something was not clicking for them since the James Harden trade. Harden, playing as a guard, scored 13 points tonight, with 10 assists, and 3 rebounds. The superstar duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George did the damage to the Spurs’ defense. They scored 21 and 28 points, respectively. After a convincing victory, James Harden is again on the verge of a controversy.

After the match, James Harden opened up to the media. In an X (formerly Twitter) post by Joey Linn, the video is put up. Speaking about how Lue used him as a guard, he claimed that he earned that respect to be trusted with the creator’s role. He also mentioned that the opponents guards no other ‘Guard’ like him.

Harden said, “Just allowing me to be the creator and read the defenses… I think I’ve earned that respect and proven that I’m able to do that.” He further added, “I’ve had different teams prepare and guard me different ways probably more than any other guard has ever seen before.”

Harden also hinted that their best is yet to come. They are looking towards the bigger picture, even after six back-to-back losses. Speaking about his gameplay, he mentioned, “That’s something I work on every single day. I have confidence in it.”

Well, being confident is fine, but he should refrain from passing any comment that might get back to him in the near future. Harden should realize that irrespective of his talent and powerful gameplay, he is 34. He already created a massive controversy in his previous club and should not look back from now onwards.
