At the age of 34, Ayesha Curry has embraced motherhood, as she once claimed to have “thoroughly enjoyed being a mom”. But this time, things are a little different. During this pregnancy cycle, she is hounded by opinions and concerns. And she spoke about these concerns in a rather candid manner in her interview. At this point, she speaks about the challenges a “geriatric” pregnancy brings along for her; of course, it doesn’t get easier for anyone being referred to as “old” at this time. Even though the surrounding noise grows louder, so does the grace in her heart.

Ayesha’s primary focus is to protect her inner peace at the moment, and her demeanor reflects that. She is focusing on enjoying this beautiful phase in life thoroughly, baking on her “village of people” to help her, support her, and nurture her, unconditionally. “It takes a solid core group of people around you to get the job done, whether it’s raising a child, building a business”, she said. Despite being an independent self that reflected in her business acumen, she is finally putting her walls down to take the leap of faith to rely on the people around her. She is realizing how important family and girlfriends can be at this time. So no matter how stubborn she was during her previous pregnancies, this time around she is being patient with herself and learning to put her pride aside to let people help her out. She’s leaning on people for not just herself, but for her heart and soul during her pregnancy. And it’s not just the people she’s relying on for help. Ayesha is also tapping into her spiritual side right now.

Like building blocks, Ayesha is also working on her relationship with God and the concept of abstract spirituality this time her. She’s taking a keen interest in reading up and understanding how genetics work, and how she can probably build a better generational cycle for her fourth child. Ayesha is also talking to her baby, mentally and verbally, figuring out ways to build that connection with a new soul she’s nurturing in her womb. After all, she understands that the way she speaks will eventually impact the baby growing inside of her.

One thing that Ayesha has a full focus on is to have a rather positive impact on her children, as she understands that they’re a direct reflection of their parents. Swimming through emotions, as Ayesha and Steph Curry go through this pregnancy, we are nothing but happy for the childhood sweethearts for their journey to becoming parents once again!
