The conference finals haven’t even taken place yet, and the off-season has already kicked on in full force. And of course, the biggest name on the block is Giannis Antetokounmpo. The rumor mill has churned out every single team as a prospect for the Greek. Where will he go? We won’t know until his sit-down with the Bucks at the end of the season.

But he’s not shy of speaking his mind on the Q&A he’s hosting either, answering fan questions without hesitation.

Rockets, Spurs, Warriors, Lakers- you name it. There’s no end when it comes to his probable new homes. It’ll be even more hilarious if he chooses to stay in Milwaukee, which is a big possibility in itself. But in the Q&A, one answer caught everyone off-guard. Giannis has dominated on every court he’s stepped on.

Which do you think is his favourite? Which fans got him in awe more than anyone else? Turns out, they are the Madison Square Garden.

“What’s your favorite city to play in on the road,” asked a fan. Antetokounmpo replied, “New York.” Is that any surprise? The Garden is widely considered one of the most iconic and historically significant arenas in the world. It’s known for its legendary atmosphere, rich history, and strong fan base. The theater of dreams has gotten Giannis in his feels, and this could lead fans to believe that the Greek is on his way to the Big Apple. And he’s loving every minute of the Q&A.

The Knicks‘ recent success has made the historic team a temptation for any big player. Having Giannis Antetokounmpo on the team could be the last piece in the puzzle for a championship that’s been 52 years in the wait. But again, there’s not a single team that’s confirmed to get the Freak.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Giannis's love for MSG a sign he's eyeing a move to the Knicks?

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature eyed by the league’s best

Apparently, league sources say that the Bucks remain hopeful Giannis Antetokounmpo will decide against asking to be traded after a third successive first-round playoff exit and instead choose to extend a career that has spanned 12 seasons as a Buck to date. He nearly single-handedly brought them their first championship in 50 years. There’s no question about his loyalty. But when personal expectations come in, loyalty isn’t even a factor. And that’s why the rumor mill runs 24/7.

ESPN’s Shams Charania has reported on Giannis being open-minded about his future. The team at the top of the list is the Spurs. They possess things not too many teams do – a young squad, trade capital, and a flexible salary cap. Giannis won’t be cheap – he’s currently on a $228,200,420 contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. Moving a couple of players around with a few trade picks would be ideal for a Bucks team that lacks in both.

But the Rockets‘ salary cap is more flexible. They are below both the luxury tax line and the first apron in terms of their salary obligations. Boasting just $131 million in salary, and even with team options and non-guaranteed contracts included, they remain $25.5 million and $37.3 million below the respective thresholds, according to ESPN. But Ime Udoka’s plans of having a young core with an explosive offense might get in the way.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to New York after just one cryptic post might be a bit of a stretch. But his Q&A proved interesting. He’s known to not hold back on his true feelings, much like Kevin Durant. Do you think Giannis to the Garden is a possibility?
