New York Knicks Injury Report – Will Jalen Brunson play in Game 6?

“I’m all good,” said Jalen Brunson post-Game 5 after hurting his ankle and missing the final stretch of that game. And, he also suffered an ankle injury against the Los Angeles Lakers in March. So concerns about the integrity of his ankle lingered. But after looking at the injury report, we can assure you that there’s really nothing to worry about.

Brunson is off the injury report submitted by the Knicks ahead of Game 6. Meaning, he is AVAILABLE for the Knicks heading into Game 6. Turns out, he was right about needing to “walk it off.” So, Knicks fans, you can relax now.

In fact, the Knicks actually submitted a clean injury report for the upcoming game. That means there are no injured players for the New York Knicks. And this bodes really well for them because their opponents aren’t faring as well.

The Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart is still dealing with inflammation in his right knee. He hasn’t played since Game 1 in this series and remains QUESTIONABLE for Game 6. His presence could have given the Pistons a strong rebounding presence in their rotation. Sadly, it seems we’ll have to wait till gametime to find out his exact status.

Now, what does all this mean for the game? Let’s get to that now.

But Brunson and his teammates have the opportunity to right those wrongs tonight. But it won’t be easy. It’s no secret that Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart’s absence in the final stretch of Game 5 hurt the Knicks. They weren’t on the court when Cade Cunningham took over the game and put it out of their reach. “It’s tough,” Brunson confessed after the game. Standing beside the scorer’s table and watching the other team rack up points must be difficult.

But if they can be at their best, and a mid-game injury doesn’t derail their plans…Well, the Knicks will do what they should have done in Game 5. But if they can’t, the Pistons will have forced Game 7 out of this series. And who wins that game is anybody’s guess!
