Game 7 in any Playoff series is a lot like the Golden Snitch in Harry Potter. Everything before led up to it, but what happens here decides who moves on. And thanks to Nicolas Batum’s incredible defensive spirit, the LA Clippers were able to force Game 7 in the series against the Denver Nuggets. We’re sure Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic aren’t happy about that. But there’s no time to dwell on that—they need to focus on what lies ahead.

And that would be a tough Clippers side that just beat them in Game 6. But before the game, allow us to ease any concerns you have about the Nuggets‘ roster falling prey to injuries. So, here’s the injury report for Jamal Murray and the Nuggets heading into Game 7.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report—Will Jamal Murray play in Game 7?

Sadly, Jamal Murray wasn’t able to repeat his incredible 43-point showing from Game 5 in the Nuggets’ previous game. And he’ll be kicking himself for that. But Murray will have an opportunity to redeem himself in front of his home fans on Saturday.

Yes, that’s right. As things stand, there aren’t any reports of Jamal Murray getting injured, and he’s not on the injury report for the Nuggets’ upcoming game either. Meaning, Jamal Murray is AVAILABLE for the final game of Denver’s series against the LA Clippers. But that doesn’t mean the Nuggets have submitted a clean injury report. DaRon Holmes II remains on the report for the Nuggets. Denver fans, you probably won’t see him till next season as he recovers from having his right Achilles tendon repaired surgically.

Anyhow, that’s it for the Nuggets’ injury report. David Adelman will be pleased that none of his core rotation is compromised heading into Game 7 against the Clippers. But given what happened to the Nuggets last year, there are still doubts about their ability to get the W tonight.

The Nuggets can right last year’s wrongs with a victory in Game 7 against the Clippers

Since 2019, the Nuggets have played 5 Game 7s. Now, they do have a winning 3-2 record in these games. However, what happened in Game 7 last year against Minnesota must still linger in the back of their minds. Jamal Murray and Co. blew a 20-point lead as the Timberwolves completed an insane comeback to bounce the Nuggets in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Jamal Murray redeem himself in Game 7, or will the Clippers crush Denver's dreams again?

Have an interesting take?

But coach David Adelman thinks they can use that loss as an opportunity. He believes they can use it to be better. “We’re going to look back at that, use it as a lesson learned,” said Adelman. So if anything, last year’s experience was just a lesson in how things can go wrong in a Game 7. But to actually redeem themselves in front of the home crowd in Denver, Adelman and his team will need to deal with a new threat — Nicolas Batum.

His size, ability to defend all positions as pointed out by Jokic, and his surprising shooting ability are all problems that terrorized Denver in Game 6. And the Joker even pointed out the fact that they’ll start him in Game 7. So knowing this, Adelman’s game plan will need to be perfect in order to stop the Clippers from repeating what happened in the previous game in this series.

With players like Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, the pieces are there for the Nuggets to win. However, with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden on the other side of the court, it will be a struggle even if the Nuggets are at their best. Game 7 in this series will be a doozy, and we hope you don’t miss this one!
