He was dubbed the most overrated player in the NBA. But after going 2-0 against the winningest team in the East, those detractors are silent now. If you haven’t guessed already, we’re talking about Pacers sensation, Tyrese Haliburton. He’s played incredibly over the last 2 games to get the Indiana Pacers 2-0 up against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

But can he keep this amazing run going against the Cavs in Game 3? Or has he fallen prey to the one thing that can hinder athletes at any time — injuries? Let’s see what the injury report turned in by Indiana has to say about that.

Indiana Pacers Injury Report – Will Tyrese Haliburton play tonight?

We’re a few hours away from tipoff in Game 3 of the series between the Pacers and the Cavaliers. And so far, there have been no reports of Tyrese Haliburton getting injured. Nor is he on the Pacers’ injury report for Game 3. So, barring any last-minute changes, Tyrese is AVAILABLE for Game 3 against the Cavs. And that must come as a huge relief to any Pacers fan worried about his status ahead of the upcoming game.

But just because Tyrese is healthy doesn’t mean the Pacers have submitted a clean injury report.

Isaiah Jackson is the only Pacers player on the report ahead of this upcoming game against the Cavs. Jackson tore his Achilles tendon back in November last year. And if you’ve been around the block, you know this is a nasty injury that needs surgery to fix. So, it’s not a surprise that Jackson is OUT of Game 3 since he’s on the mend after having his Achilles tendon surgically repaired.

And that’s it for the Pacers’ injured player, rather player. With nearly all of his players healthy, head coach Rick Carlisle will have an easy time naming a squad for tonight. So, let’s see who might find their way on it and who might come off the bench to relieve them.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Tyrese Haliburton proving his critics wrong, or is this just a temporary hot streak?

Have an interesting take?

Indiana Pacers – predicted starting lineup and depth chart

Tyrese Haliburton and all of his teammates who helped the Pacers go 2-0 up against the Cavs are available for Carlisle. So, Carlisle really has no reason to mess with the established rotation and starters at this point. That said, here’s what the lineup may look like for Game 3 against the Cavaliers:

The Pacers are lucky to have no injured players heading into their next game. But their opponents aren’t as lucky. De’Andre Hunter, Evan Mobley, and Darius Garland are all on the injury report for the Cavs. They’re all QUESTIONABLE to appear tonight. And this bodes well for the Pacers.

After all, the Cavs might be without the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year in Mobley and their second-highest scorer in Garland. So it’s not a stretch to say they’re shorthanded. And this may be the edge the Pacers need to go 3-0 up against them in this series and get that much closer to a sweep. But there are still players like Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen for Haliburton and Co. to deal with. And they’ll have their backs against the wall in this fixture.

All in all, Game 3 between the Pacers and Cavs promises to be a barnburner. With a lot riding on this game, both teams will be hungrier than ever to show up and get the W. And that’s a recipe for an incredible game.
