The Warriors-Rockets series was so much more than just basketball. There were countless moments where it felt that much more personal. But for the most part, it involved three people – Draymond Green, Tari Eason, and, weirdly enough, Tari Eason’s mom, Teroya. Teroya’s history with the Dub Nation is well documented, to the point where she’d have to think twice before stepping into the Bay Area. But after their latest online interaction, the bad blood is never going away.
A Warriors fanpage on X tweeted a video of Tari taunting the Golden State, screaming out “Warriors, come out to playyyyy” like he meant business. He’s quickly eaten his words since, after losing the 7-game series to Stephen Curry and Co. Draymond was the first to react to that tweet, with just two words: “😂😂😂😂😂😂 spoiled milk.”
To be honest, it was a pretty rotten postseason for the Rockets forward. He might not be getting much of a look under Ime Udoka. But you gotta seize your chances – and just one 10+ point game in a 7-game series? He has to be better, and even he knows it. Dray, on the other hand, ended game 7 with a 16/6/5 statline, with 1 steal, 2 blocks, and shooting 46.6% from the field. His tail is wagging in excitement. And he deserves it too, especially after being snubbed for the DPOTY.

Enter Teroya Eason. Back in Game 2, Tari and Dray were seen going at it. Watching from the stands, Teroya publicly ridiculed him on X. “That man just lost his father YOU DONT WANT THIS DRAYMOND. This pain you ain’t seen before. These boys not letting yo old a– kick them around. Don’t get f****d up!!!” Now, she went as far as to blacklist Dray’s love for Tari, the existence of which may come as a surprise considering the latest developments.
However, Draymond’s been a fan of Tari. He even claims him to be the “new generation’s Draymond Green.” And if you see them play- the defensive prowess, the ruthless aggression – you wouldn’t think twice either. But now’s when Draymond has turned heel, he isn’t one to back down from a fight.
Teroya Eason publicly calls out Draymond Green for being two-faced
Let’s dive into Draymond Green‘s comments on Tari Eason from 9 months ago. In a candid interview, Dray was asked who he thought the next gen Draymond Green would be. His answer? Tari Eason. “Yeah, I love that kid, man. And I don’t know what’s happening right now in Houston. I haven’t seen him play a ton, but I haven’t heard a ton about him. So I don’t know if he’s playing a lot this year. You know, it can be tough with coaching changes and different stuff.”

But Teroya didn’t appreciate that. How can someone support her kid, only to turn heel 9 months later? Where’s the mutual respect? This infuriated Teroya, almost like they took a ride in a DeLorean time machine to Game 2. She didn’t hold back:
What’s your perspective on:
Is Draymond Green justified in calling Tari Eason 'spoiled milk,' or did he cross the line?
Have an interesting take?
You mad, cause he didn’t let you strangle him??? Theres no videos of him saying you were the next him, yet here you are 9 months ago…… yes he said it, and he’d say it again. Ain’t nobody scared you! WOOF!!!!!🤘🏾4-3. pic.twitter.com/LtJdxN4oIr

The public outrage is insane. Fans think she should start booking tickets to Cancun rather than beefing with someone who beat her son in the games that mattered. What does matter is that the Rockets are back to the drawing board, while the Warriors prepare for the Timberwolves. But in such situations, there’s never a right or a wrong side. Whose side are you on- Mama Eason or Draymond Green?
