With the NBA regular season in full swing, tensions are rising between the teams to do better and gain a satisfactory spot on the points table. This tension is resulting in various unexpected moments occurring between the teams. It was only some time ago when Jimmy Butler ended up being on the receiving end of a neck grab by Naji Marshall. No sooner had that fight being resolved when another issue instantly popped up.

A few hours ago, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Charlotte Hornets. The highlight of the game occurred when Hornets power forward Grant Williams ended up getting into a brawl with Warriors’ Lester Quinones after reportedly calling the latter a “b**ch”. The situation got so bad that various players and security personnel had to break the fight. Williams’ action resulted in him getting ejected from the game.

During a post-game press conference, Warriors power forward Draymond Green addressed the fight by stating that he doesn’t understand why “people get so mad”. He stated his opinion that Williams would have had no reason to get mad if his team was ahead in points, going so far as to accuse him of being a “sore loser”.

“This tough guy (act) is going absolutely wrong for him. He’s a nice guy,” said Green during the press conference.

Green proceeded to take an example from the past and stated that “Talking too much is kinda what got you out of Dallas”. This was a reference to the reported rumours that the reason Williams was traded to the Hornets was because players like Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving had allegedly lost their tolerance in handling Williams’s personality.

In the end, Green had only four words to state when concluding his opinion about the Hornets player: “Pray for Grant Williams.”

Was Seth Curry looking to ditch his teammate after the Williams-Quinones incident?

Draymond Green’s statement in light of the on-court brawl may have served as a testament of what the other Warriors would have taken the incident. While it is too early to know what the Hornets thought about it, Seth Curry’s reaction may help to provide an answer to NBA fans.

As the highly anticipated game concluded, Draymond Green could be seen engaged in a conversation with Miles Bridges and Seth Curry. The latter stood beside his elder brother as Green continued to keep everyone around the circle engaged in conversation.

Many fans would assume that it was completely normal for Seth to be standing besides his brother and engaging in a friendly conversation with his rival. The fact, however, that Seth was looking to spend the time with the Warriors instead of going to Williams in the aftermath of the brawl might give the impression that the 33-year-old was not yet ready to get the story from Williams side.
