There it is, the NCAA World has a new champion as Dawn Staley’s Southern California outdid Iowa on 7th April. It was simple; the best team won, and it stood as a reminder that teams don’t go undefeated by luck. Building what Dawn Staley has built takes years of hard work and experience. Interestingly, this is her 3rd national title, and she’s only behind Geno Auriemma, Pat Summitt, and Kim Mulkey in the All-Time women’s NCAA title race. Massive names lined up to quickly acknowledge her team’s efforts after SC defeated Caitlin Clark and Co.

The likes of LeBron James, Barack Obama, Deion Sanders, Magic Johnson, and many more posted their appreciation for the 10th unbeaten Champion in Division 1 women’s basketball history. LeBron demanded for Staley to be “protected” with “No if, ands or buts!”.

Samuel L. Jackson humorously tried to shift the attention towards the super-dedicated team as well.

Dwyane Wade’s partner was also part of the praise bandwagon with her ‘BIG’ tribute. “Freshmen stepped up BIG, bench was BIG, and the leaders lead BIG!!”, she excitedly wrote.

Stephen Curry and Co.’s brand’s social media handle also congratulated Milaysia Fulwiley, a Curry Athlete and SC Freshman, with a heartwarming bunch of snippets of the Champion. In the caption they wrote, “HOMETOWN HERO. HOMEGROWN CHAMPION”.
