After the disappointing loss to the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors pulled their socks up to face the Los Angeles Clippers. They won the match with 120-114. 20-year-old rookie Brandin Podziemski displayed an impressive performance. He got 13 points with 8 rebounds and 2 assists. The Warriors rookie did some serious damage to the opponents as he tallied 8 points in 8 minutes.

With each passing day, the focus is zooming in on him as the Warriors rookie seems destined for greatness.
The 20-year Podziemski rubs shoulders with the NBA veterans including Stephen Curry. He enjoys a special relationship with the 35-year-old Warrior. Of course, it is a relationship between someone who has carved a name for himself in history and someone in the process of doing the same.

In the game against Minnesota on November 14, Podziemski scored 23 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 39 minutes. He became someone Warriors bank upon since then.
Stephen Curry is not just a passionate basketball idol to Podziemski but a compassionate mentor too. The 20-year-old Podziemski shares a locker room with him and gets to learn from the veteran on his basketball journey. Curry recently opened up on the curiosity of the 20-year-old. Curry said about Podziemski, “He is kind of the annoying little brother who asks questions all the time, and he’s always talking.”

Brandin too shares deep respect and gratitude for the Warriors star. He calls him the ‘best in the NBA’. Also, Curry is someone for Brandin whose workouts he gets to watch that people are willing to pay for.

While there is a healthy bromance going on in the Warriors locker rooms between Curry and Podziemski, Draymond Green ,too is all praise for the youngster.

Podziemski is surrounded by big brothers like he is in the nursery of greatness at the Golden State. Draymond calls him the student of the game asking millions of questions.

Praising his contribution in Thursday’s game when Chris Paul, Gary Payton, and Andrew Wiggins were out, Draymond remarked that Brandin was all over the place. He said, “Rookies don’t blow up plays. Rookies f–k up plays. And he doesn’t.”
