Mitty’s basketball star was all in last season’s Western Conference championship. The 6’8 star of the Nuggets has an impeccable track record back in college as well. Mr. Nugget, being one of the most low-maintenance players in the entire league, was the fourth overall draft pick in 2013. After leading the last victory, he is up for another game.

The starting lineup for the defending champions includes Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Nikola Jokic. There is no doubt that the Nuggets are on a mission tonight. After all, to reclaim the victory for the second time in a row and justify the marginal win last season, they must shine tonight. However, the question is: ‘is Aaron Gordon still young and hungry?’

Aron Gordon did put on a show in the 2023 NBA season with his long-range shooting prowess. However, that’s not even half of the expected performance. With a record of missing all three-point attempts, he only has average play from beyond the arch.

Tonight, in the much-awaited Los Angeles Lakers vs. the defending champions, Gordon is on his ‘Road to Repeat’. Setting goals for this season, probably starting tonight, the team is pumped to repeat history.

What LeBron James and Co. witnessed last season was Aaron Gordon on his defense, full-throttle. For today, it’s the same game plan, with repeated defensive rebounds in the first quarter played tonight. With 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2/3 FG, Gordon is on his A-game.

Well, the defensive stop was the reason why the Denver Nuggets acquired him back in 2021. He seems to repeat the pattern with the practice of defending LeBron James. On that note, the scuffle last season might happen tonight because Mr. Nugget is on his way to repeating history.

Austin Reaves might make up for the lost shooting abilities of LeBron James this season as well. With the record of being a deadly 3-point shooter and a deadly clutch 3-point shooter, there is much to see from Reaves as the game unfolds. However, he looks like a short jumper guarding the ‘center giant’ of the Nuggets.

Although LeBron James is entering his 21st season, the 10-point score tonight by the end of the first half is enough to call him ‘The King’. The score is 54-63, with the Denver Nuggets taking the lead. However, the game might end on a different note, with Anthony Davis playing in his full form.
