Tari Eason’s mother fired a shot at Draymond Green after the Dubs’ comeback win. The Golden State Warriors took on the short-handed Miami Heat at Kaseya Center and produced a comfortable 92-113 win. However, a particular play in the game went viral on social media involving Green. In that play, the Dubs star aggressively put his arm around Heat’s Patty Mills’ neck in his attempt to guard him. Surprisingly, the star walked away with just a foul call.

In response to the viral moment, an X handle shared the video clip and asked, “who tf was Draymond’s therapist?” And, Houston Rockets star Eason’s mom dragged an ex-Warriors player in to troll the 4x NBA Champion. She reposted the video and wrote, “Latrell Spreewell???”

Latrell Sprewell (53) debuted his NBA career with the Warriors in 1992 and donned the Bay Area threads until 1997. During his career, he has faced multiple controversies surrounding his aggressive nature on the court. Sprewell once said of playing style, “On the court, I am aggressive, constantly attacking, I just played with the fierceness and passion and the competitive edge,” during an interview with MSG Networks.

Sprewell’s style had got him into trouble as well. In 1997, the league suspended him for a year. The former Dubs star attacked the then-Warriors coach P. J. Carlesimo in a practice session. This eventually ended his stint with the Bay Area side. Comparatively, Draymond Green and Sprewell have a similar approach to the game. Notably, he also had engaged in a physical altercation with his teammate in a practice session.

Moreover, Green faced an indefinite suspension for throwing a punch at Suns’ Jusuf Nurkić, and the league also suggested he seek professional help during the suspension.

Did Draymond Green go through therapy during suspension?

Yes, the Warriors star embraced therapy during his suspension. Green faced a lot of criticism, coming from across the league. Even his former teammate Kevin Durant openly spoke about it to the press and suggested he should get help. Green himself spoke about his experience of getting therapy during his return. He did sound refreshing describing it.

Even after therapy, Green was engaging in a few ugly on-court altercations, but none of them escalated into physical violence. Notably, the Warriors can’t afford to lose the star defender and orchestrator as they head into the crucial stage of the season.

What do you make of the viral clip? Was the ref easy on Draymond Green with his call? Let us know in the comments.
