Dealing with a house full of teenagers on your own can be a real pain. There would hardly be mothers who would not know how stressful things can be when you want to help your kids, but at the same time not be the parent who’s too controlling, right? And if you’re not able to handle the situation on your own, don’t worry, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James’s better half, Savannah James, could help you with a thing or two. That’s because she’s back with Season 5 of her podcast ‘Everybody’s Crazy‘ and seems to be handing out some solid parenting advice.
After a short hiatus from podcasting, Savannah James and April McDaniel are back at it again. And, it’s safe to say they had a lot of things to talk about with their fans. That’s why, when a caller asked the pair about how to handle a situation where her son and his girlfriend wanted their own space at just 19, James and Daniel came in with some really helpful advice based on their personal experiences. Savannah talked about how her mother created a safe space not just for her but even for her friends while they were growing up.
“So, my mom did a lot of like being a safe haven in my like in my house growing up.” She said. So next time you see Bronny and siblings getting the extra care, you know where it stems from: personal experience. Lady James then continued, “So, like my sister’s friends, my brother’s friends, never like a girlfriend or boyfriend. And I think that was just out of circumstance. It just didn’t happen that way. But always looking at it from like what the situation was on the other side and just trying to be helpful in the inner room of trying to figure out how they can, you know, just helping for a second while they figure out what the next step is.”

The mother of three explained how the safe space her mother created for her and her brother’s friends helped her do the same for her kids. She helped millions of parents understand that they should support their kids and help them until they’re stable enough to figure out what they want to do next. When you think about it, that’s some really good advice for parents all over the globe. However, this wasn’t it. Savannah James also detailed her own experience as a parent and stated that she had things under control at her house.
“No, bro. I got control. Y’all could come here.” James emphasized. “You’re you’re you’re limiting the amount of access to do these things by keeping it in your no-bubble. It’s not to say it’s not going to happen, but it’s not going to happen as like willy-nilly if you’re upstairs or downstairs, whatever.” Savannah James suggested that giving children space makes it less likely for them to be with their partners at their parents’ house. Although she did not rule out the possibility of them doing so, she stated that it would be less likely if you’re open about it.
Well, that’s really some solid advice from Savannah James. However, this wasn’t the only help LeBron James’s wife did recently.
Savannah James reveals why she created ‘Let It Break‘
It has been an eventful year for the James family, especially Savannah James, who has recently launched her own skincare brand. However, she’s not planning to stop at that. The Los Angeles Lakers star’s wife recently founded ‘Let It Break,‘ a platform for women’s communities that helps other women in personal and holistic wellness. To put it simply, it’s a place where events, workshops, and expert sessions will be held with the goal of empowering women to develop deep relationships.

But why? Well, Savannah talked about what motivated her to take this huge step for women. “I really kind of started in my early thirties. I was moving through life with no intention, no passion, no anything really. I was just doing what I thought I needed to do and being a mom. And I was doing that very well if I should say so myself, but I had a daughter and she told me that she wanted to be just like me, and it scared me half to death, and I felt then and there I had to buckle down…” She said in an IG clip.
LeBron James’ better half revealed that her daughter, Zhuri, wanted to be like her, and this made her think hard. Then, she reflected on what kind of legacy she’d like to leave for her daughter, which motivated her to do something. She then started working on herself and created ‘Let It Break’ to help other women in similar shoes to hers. It seems that moment of realization, which came from her daughter’s comment, sparked something in Savannah James, as she now pledges to help other women become the best version of themselves.
