In the podcast, James said, “I feel like sometimes I’m too loyal,” tackling the idea of what loyalty in friendships means to her and what she feels about neutrality. She went on to use a hypothetical scenario wherein her friend might harbor a dislike for someone called ‘Sally’. Savannah shows unwavering commitment to her friends, even in situations where she isn’t directly involved. “If you say we don’t like Sally, you don’t like Sally, but I don’t know Sally, it’s f*ck Sally for me,” James said, emphasizing her headstrong allegiance to the people she cares about. “I don’t even ever got to meet Sally.”
Savannah James further noted that despite her commitment to her friendships, she struggled with the idea of being ‘too loyal’, simultaneously questioning the validity of such an idea. She said, “Sometimes I struggle with, and I don’t know if there’s such a thing as being too loyal, but that’s how I feel.” Moved by Savannah’s words, Malaika reaffirmed her friend’s steadfast devotion, recognizing her dedication to supporting the people she loves. “Savannah, I 100% agree you are loyal to the end,” she added, a sentiment shared by her friends and even her husband. Here’s what he said about his wife in the past.
