Larsa Pippen has a history of dating NBA players and famous musicians. She is currently dating Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan‘s son. But if we trace back a little further, she was married to Chicago Bulls iconic player, Scottie Pippen, until 2021 when they got a divorce. With Scottie, Larsa has three children.

Among her three children, Scotty Pippen Jr. followed in his father’s footsteps, playing professional basketball. Much to everyone’s joy, he signed with the Lakers in 2022. However, with the regular season drawing near, Lakers leg go of the Hall of Famer’s son. Well, it looks like his mother might have a part in this early departure.

Larsa Pippen’s love life is affecting her son’s career

Turns out that Larsa’s love affairs are affecting her son’s career. Her romantic flings with younger men are making things uncomfortable for her son, who is trying to make a name in the league. “You’re costing your son a job with this public s***”, as rapper Ma$e puts it in Killa Cam’s ‘It Is What It Is’ show. The Lakers made a move of trading in Malik Beasley, who had a short fling with Larsa back in 2020. This threw the whole team’s locker room into an uneasy fit.

Ma$e is of the opinion that it’s not Scotty’s skills that were a problem as he was delivering good performances on the court consistently; averaging 22 points in the G-League, getting 6 rebounds and 5 assists every game, but “If your mom’s gonna be dating young players then that’s gonna be a problem to a locker room“. This, according to him, caused serious problems for the team.

Changing the last name might help

Larsa has continued to use Pippen’s name even after their divorce. In this regard, Cam’ron says that she has to consider changing her last name. In his own words, “This is not even your name“. He says that she should “Take that Pippen off her name” as it is affecting her child.
