The ongoing July has become the month of weddings for the NBA stars. The warm and pleasant weather has served as a terrific time for basketball players to get hitched. Frank Kaminsky began this month’s wedding vows, marrying ESPN anchor, Ashley Brewer. This was followed by Joel Embiid, who married his longtime girlfriend, Anne de Paula in the Hamptons. However, Trae Young seemed to have chosen the same day to tie the knot too.

Trae Young has had an offseason for the ages in 2023. Young announced that his third signature shoe with Adidas is all set to release before the 2023-24 NBA season. His podcast, “From the Point” has also come out, garnering several positive reviews. And now, Young had a life changing experience, marrying his longtime girlfriend, Shelby Miller. After his intimate wedding, the 24 year old was seen dancing with his bride in a video, which has caught the attention of NBA fans.

2023 has been a spectacular year for the 29 year old Joel Embiid. Despite the drama surrounding James Harden‘s trade request, the reigning MVP has had a terrific year throughout. Just months after being named the 2022-23 NBA MVP, the Philadelphia 76ers forward tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Anna de Paula. The couple walked down the aisle, hand in hand, after their wedding in Southampton, New York. However, just moments after the videos of their marriage circulated on social media, the fans found out about the Atlanta Hawks guard, Trae Young tying the knot on the same day.

Trae Young has been in the spotlight this entire offseason. Whether it be his third signature shoe, his podcast or the Hawks’ front office move to bring back his teammate, Dejounte Murray, Young has had it his way in 2023. Now, Young’s marriage served as the cherry on top for the 2 time All Star. After his wedding, Young was seen having his first dance with his bride in a video shared by Bleacher Report.

Several fans reacted on Instagram and Twitter, congratulating the couple. However, some fans also pointed out the coincidence between Embiid and Young’s marriage dates.

However, a fan also poked fun at Young’s height saying, “She’s the same height as him.” On Twitter, the video got more varying responses.
