Wembanyama?s NBA is fast but less physical
LNB Pro A is where we first saw?Victor Wembanyama beginning his professional basketball career. It’s a men?s professional basketball league in France. With his recent NBA draft, the Spurs’ rookie noticed a significant difference between the leagues.
In a recent interview, Wemby confessed, “First of all, the court is more open [in the NBA]. It’s going fast, but it’s less physical.”
"I like this better though." 😅

Wemby?s struggle as an NBA rookie is real. However, his opinions about the EuroLeague being more challenging are certainly questionable. If the 76ers point guard Patrick Beverley is to be believed, the NBA is incomparable. Pat Bev spent three and a half seasons overseas and is aware of many unhealthy habits of the EuroLeague ballers.?

Patrick Beverley?s unfiltered look into the EuroLeague
In an episode of the Pat Bev Podcast with Rone, Beverley looks back upon his time in Europe. Bev confessed, ?Europe was a vibe for me?I enjoyed every bit of it.? However, when the host questioned whether the EuroLeague was better than the NBA, Bev disagreed. ?It has a lot more intelligence, a lot less athleticism.??

According to Bev, this vodka-chugger was always passionate and utterly wild on the court?for obvious reasons. Apparently, drinking like this before the game is pretty common in Europe.

As though this revelation wasn?t shocking enough, Bev recalls another incident. He talks about an incident where one baller, after a big championship game, was ?in the m*therf*cking shower, legs crossed and cigarette? you know what I?m saying??
The vodka-shot pre-game ritual or the shower smoke culture is definitely not the NBA’s cup of tea. And as Wemby said, ?Here, players are just flying.? That’s pretty true. NBA has speed, talent, and discipline, which sadly doesn?t seem to be the case for the EuroLeague.?
