As the trade deadline is around the corner, rumors and opinions swarm the NBA world. One of the current buzz surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers trade drama is the fans calling for Austin Reaves’ trade. A massive fan uproar erupted in the Laker Nation amid the 25-year-old’s poor run during tonight’s Rival Week game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Before AR came into the trade deadline picture, it was D’Angelo Russell, who was constantly dragged into the conversation. However, the conversation backtracked after he showed his class during his last six outings, averaging 27 points. Meanwhile, Reaves had only 13 points. Moreover, D’Lo’s tonight’s performance against the Clips also forced the fans to rethink their trade opinions.

Here are some reactions from fans amid the LA clash.

Moreover, Hillbilly Kobe’s performance also didn’t seem to help the LeBron James-less Lakers to take home the win. While Reaves showed glimpses of his defense class in the start of game, he couldn’t do much in the other end of the court. He recorded 12 points with poor shooting record 5-14.

On the other hand, Russell led the Purple & Gold side’s offense with 27 points with 10 assists along with Anthony Davis’ 26 points in a losing 127-116 game at Crypto.com Arena.

However, these pinch hitting wasn’t making any difference to the mighty Clippers, as Kawhi Leonard recorded his second ever triple double to take the Clippers past the finish line with 25-11-10. He was supported by James Harden with 23 points and 10 assists. Apart from that, the bench pitched in crucial 45 points to have an upper hand over their arch rivals.
