Team USA is facing Puerto Rico in Las Vegas in a showcase game to prepare better for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. The fans were excited to watch a star-studded line-up comprising the likes of Anthony Edwards and Jalen Brunson. Amid all, one certain Austin Reaves stole the show.

Coming off the bench, Reaves struck fear into the hearts of the opposition. The NBA legend and his Los Angeles Lakers teammate LeBron James was quick to admit the same.

Austin Reaves’ desire impressed LeBron James

Despite not being part of the starting line-up, Reaves has become an integral part of the Team USA setup. He showed his prowesses in the past few days in the scrimmages against the team USA Select. His attacking display on the court as a rotation player against Puerto Rico garnered praise from LeBron.

At halftime, Team USA led by 50-43 with Austin aggressively leading the play coming off the bench. By the end of the first half, he had 9 points shooting 4/6 from the field. What’s more impressive was that he played only eight minutes in the half.
