Devin Booker’s offensive moves are among the smoothest. Not wasting too much motion and balancing his energy, the Guard has compact mechanics. He has great dribble moves, he can deploy smooth crossovers, and he can make step-backs. His shooting form exudes the knowledge of fundamentals. He can nail fadeaways, He can do one pull-up, he can fake a pass and get to the rim. His elastic body allows him to evade defenders well and, thanks to his will to keep improving, the Phoenix Suns Guard has built a solid offensive skill set.

The Guard is just a complete offensive package, which is rare in any era. However, once he took exception to a hard-nosed individual during a workout. He also began a debate about the intensity during a pickup game.

During a possession, Book received the ball from the right corner. He had a defender right up his hip. Assuming a post-position, the incredible scorer didn’t expect another defender. As per Joakim Noah’s instructions, Tony Snell arrived from the vacant left side. Thus, when Tony Snell came to help from that side, this restricted Booker’s area of operation. Snell got closer access to the ball and stripped it away to send it out of bounds. A perturbed Booker then shouted, “Hey, we are not doubling in the gym bro”. To this, Noah, who directed the double team and was in the free-throw area, quickly replied, “Yeah, we are”.

Then D-Book said, “I see this sh** all season”. To which the stellar defender replied, “Part of the game”. Four years after this happenstance, the former Bulls legend opens up about the whole incident.
