James Harden has been frequenting the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It seems that The Beard cannot catch a break. After months of requesting a trade from his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, James Harden’s wish to play with the Clippers was finally granted. But it does not end here. The Clippers brought in Harden to bolster their offense, but their plan has not been going according to the script. The Clippers stand at 0-4 since James joined, contributing to their 3-6 overall record. James has been less than stellar this season, averaging 13.5 points, 4.3 assists, and 5.0 rebounds in four games.

This has led to him catching a lot of flak for his poor showing. Joining the James Harden hate train was Bally Sports announcer Brian Dameris, whose two-minute-long rant on Harden recently went viral. However, a recent update on the rant video has left the NBA community outraged.

The Dallas Mavericks analyst gained a lot of traction for calling out the $165 million guard before the Clippers’ NBA In-Season Tournament clash against the Mavericks. In the video, the Mavs broadcaster went into detail about Harden’s history of forcing his way out of organizations. Dameris did not hold himself back as he reminded the audience of the multiple opportunities the Beard was given and how he failed to translate them into winning.

Harden joined Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook in Houston, but the formidable quartet failed to secure a championship. James then took his championship aspirations to the Brooklyn Nets. In Brooklyn, he paired up with his former OKC teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. The end result was once again the same. Next, with Daryl Morey’s help, he worked his way up to the Sixers to play alongside Joel Embiid but struggled to contend for a championship again.

The commentator then dropped the mic, ending the tirade with, “You’re not the beard, you’re not the system, YOU’RE the problem.” However, Bally Sports Southwest executives were not happy with Brian Dameris’ statements. The video was taken down from their X account.

As per Sports Illustrated’s Jimmy Traina, the clip was removed because the executives felt the clip “did not reflect the Mavericks organization”. The report stated that any outside factors did not influence the decision. The video was pulled down simply because the media house did not agree with Dameris’ “editorializing” and that it went against the network’s “values”.

Bally Sports’ decision to take the video down has left the NBA fans fuming

Bally Sports Southwest’s decision to take down the video received widespread criticism from fans. Some fans called out the network for curbing the analyst’s rights.

Some fans cited this as the reason for Bally Sports’ parent company going bankrupt.

One fan hilariously stated, “Harden PR team too slow, we already downloaded it on our hard drives.”

However, a few fans also came to Harden’s rescue.
