The 2024 All-Star week at Indiana is around the corner, and the fans are busy, voting their favorite stars to don the All-Star uniform. While donning the all-star jersey isn’t new for the Slovenian star Luka Doncic, a Real Madrid soccer star pleaded with the NBA fans to vote for the Dallas Mavericks franchise spearhead.

Doncic hasn’t had a great week in the NBA world. The star sustained an ankle sprain and missed three consecutive games, and returned to court for the Wednesday night game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Real Madrid soccer star bats for Luka Doncic

The Slovenian star Luka Doncic has a long-standing relationship with the Spanish soccer team. And, one of the star players of Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, didn’t fail to pay respects to him.

Courtois emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in the recent times after he moved to this historic franchise from Chelsea. Amid the rumors of goal keeper exchange between Chelsea and Madrid, Courtois pleaded with the fans to vote for Doncic, for the All-Star game.

The Mavs official X handle shared a video clip of Courtois, holding Doncic’s jersey and asking the fans to vote for him. In the video clip, the soccer star said, “Hello everyone! Thibaut Courtois here. Remember to Luka Doncic for the NBA All-Star Game.”

Not every NBA fan knows the origin of Luka Doncic. The Slovenian star before donning the Mavs jersey, played for the Real Madrid basketball team, owned by the Real Madrid CF, the legendary soccer franchise.

Doncic signed a five-year contract with the team at the age of 13. And slowly went on to become the most loved player of the fans.
