Hours into the announcement of All-Star reserves, the NBA world is filled with opinions. The majority of the hoops community isn’t happy with the reserves. Especially with the Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young’s snub. Importantly, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has also joined the bandwagon and took a subtle dig at the league.
Following the announcement of the reserves, an X user dropped a post, sharing Young’s impeccable record this season, and asked a question at the league. It read, “Why does Trae Young CONTINUE to be DISRESPECTED?”
Trae Young is averaging 27 ppg and 10.7 apg IN THE LEAGUE!!
I don’t think you fully understand how great at basketball you have to be to put up those type of numbers as a 6’1 PG… and he can’t sniff the All-Star Game 🤔

In response, LeBron James pitched in and said, “He be cooking EVERY NIGHT! Stop it! He’s an All-Star for sure. Something is REAL [Fishy].” He didn’t exactly use the word ‘Fishy’ instead opted for a ‘fish’ emoji followed by the letter ‘E’.
AGREED!!! I’m not quite understanding this! Cause it can’t be about Ws/Ls cause cats have definitely gotten in with wayyy nastier records in the past. He be cooking EVERY NIGHT! Stop it! He’s an All-⭐️ for sure. Something is REAL 🐠-E. 🤔

Trae Young‘s All-Star snub has been the talk of the NBA town for the last few hours. In this season, the Hawks star has registered 27.1 PPG and 11 assists per game, which is significantly higher than some of the reserves. For instance, he holds a better PPG and APG than Julius Randle and Tyrese Maxey.
25-year-old even expressed his displeasure through an IG post after his thunderous performance against the Phoenix Suns. Young dropped 32 points with 15 assists to clinch a comfortable 129-120 victory over the Suns.
Following the game, he took to his IG handle. He shared a picture of himself from tonight’s game and wrote, “Born a Star, still a Star.. Always will be a Star #wemove,” in the caption.
