“Sorry, I’m Gonna Cry”: Lebron James’ “Great Sidekick” Wife Savannah Once Got Emotional Over the NBA Superstar’s Close Relationship With His Kids

Behind every great player is a great support system. For LeBron James, that support comes from his teenage sweetheart and now his wife Savannah Brinson. She has not only been by his side throughout his remarkable career, but also plays an essential role in family life.

LeBron and Savannah James have been together since high school. They got formally married in 2013. And while she may not be in the spotlight, Savannah relationship with LeBron is often talked about in the media. 

Savannah gets emotional while revealing LeBron as a father

In an old video on Twitter, an interview session shows her getting emotional as she spoke about Bron’s dedication to being a loving and supportive father.

In her own words, “He’s just a great dad,” she said tearfully. While saying how much he loves his kids, she adds, “If he was a child, they’d be best friends.” She continued speaking fondly about Bronny Jr., who shares his father’s passion for basketball. “He [Bron] supports him [Bronny] at every game; he makes sure he knows how proud we are.”

But it was when discussing their second son Bryce that Savannah truly revealed her vulnerable side while expressing admiration for LeBron as a father figure. “If you see them two together…it’s like Bryce would die if he didn’t get acknowledgment from him,” she said through tears, apologizing for getting emotional.

Bron cherishes his perfect ‘sidekick’

Bron has often said how integral Savannah has been on their journey together, describing her as his “sidekick” who constantly supports him.

He said in an old interview in 2010, even before they got married, “A person like myself always needs a great sidekick… And she’s that. She’s got my back, and I love her for that.”
