It has always been an explosion whenever NBA links up with the entertainment world. It wasn’t any different tonight after Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. linked up with Camila Cabello and Alix Earle. Ahead of the Detroit Pistons‘ clash, a video of the star singer-songwriter and the social media personality meeting Jaquez Jr. surfaced in the online world. In response to the video, fans swarmed the comments and reacted to the star singer’s support to the Miami franchise.

The Cuban-Mexican singer arrived at the Kaseya Center on the 305 Day, along with her celebrity friend. And, they ran into Jaquez Jr. before entering the arena. In response, fans went haywire in the comments. Moreover, some section of the fans rooted for the rookie to perform well tonight after the linkup. While the game against the Pistons was considered a walk in the park, but it turned into a close contest late in the third quarter.

Heat vs Pistons – a close encounter

The Heat started off the game in a flurry, dropping 36 points with a 10-point lead in the first quarter. The Pistons immediately counter attacked the Heat with a dominant performance in the 2nd quarter with 34 points, almost chasing down the Heat’s score.

Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr, who was expected to have an explosive night, he instead had a quiet night, dropping 11 points in his 27-minute game time. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo took care of the majority of the business, dropping 48 points together to seal a close 110-118 victory.
