After missing out on the All-Star starters, Stephen Curry found his spot in the reserves. While the NBA world thought that the superstar was snubbed off from his place in the starting line-up, some fans felt he didn’t deserve a spot, even in the reserve. Amid this chaos, the Golden State Warriors point guard took to his X handle to thank the coaches for giving him the opportunity to appear in his 10th All-Star game.

He also penned an emotional message to his fans and dropped a video, comprising pictures from his All-Star journey. The message read, “I never take these acknowledgments for granted! The coaches voted me in this year, but thank you to you fans who voted too. Came a long way and still got some more ground to cover. See y’all in Indiana.”

It hasn’t been the easy for the Baby-faced Assassin, leading an off-color Dubs in the highly competitive league. Steph faced the heat even before his All-Star starter snub. The one half of Splash Brothers, who is known for his prowess behind the three-point arc, failed twice already in this season, without scoring a single three-pointer in a game.

Steph made his first All-Star appearance in 2013, two years after his rookie season. Since then, he has appeared in every season, barring the once with the injury. This year, he almost lost the legacy after losing his spot for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

After the announcement of the reserves, Steph joins the elite club of 10x All-Star appearance. Notably, he is one of the few active players to have appeared 10 times in All-Star games. Other notable players are LeBron James, James Harden, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul.
